On March 22, the Foodbank of Central America carried out a campaign  in Houston, Texas, with the goal of strengthening ties with the community and to support those in need in our area hospitals.  In a  gesture of solidarity and generosity, people from all over the city came together to participate in this unique event.   

From early morning until  late afternoon, volunteers received donors of all ages, demonstrating that solidarity has no limits. Every blood donation was received with gratitude and appreciation, as every drop counts in the effort to save lives and improve the health of our community.  As the day drew to a close, it became clear that the Blood Drive  was a success thanks to the support and participation of everyone involved. Foodbank of Central America extends our heartfelt thanks to each donor and volunteer who made this event possible. We will continue to work together to make a positive difference in our communities and remembering that, with every act of generosity, we are building a better and more united world for all.
